Naberhaus captures 4th of July Gowrie Open title

GOWRIE — Tyler Naberhaus earned a two-stroke victory in the annual Fourth of July Gowrie Open golf tournament on Thursday.

Naberhaus, a former Carroll Kuemper standout, carded rounds of 67 and 33 to prevail in the 27-hole event. Shane Carlson (67-35–102) and Andrew Arndorfer (67-35–102) tied for runner-up honors, with Grant Smith (69-34–103) placing fourth.

Naberhaus placed third last year behind defending champion Ryan Kinseth and Cole Jaeschke, who took gold here in 2021 and ’22.
