WEST DES MOINES — The Fort Dodge Rugby Club continued their winning ways with a pair of lopsided victories last Friday.

The Stags routed Des Moines Roosevelt, 43-7, and Urbandale, 24-7.

Gavin Pederson led Fort Dodge with three tries. Isaac Firsching added two, with Bo Cowell, Carlos Elias, Ty Adams, Jesse Egli, Klay Baker and Zeke Pineda contributing one each.

The Stags have now reeled off six consecutive victories and are 7-1 on the season.

Fort Dodge faces Iowa City West and Ames this Friday at Southeast Polk, then has its lone home matches of the year on May 3 against Cedar Rapids Washington and Des Moines Roosevelt to close out the regular season.
