Mericle is meet medalist for SE
JEWELL — The St. Edmond boys golf team finished second in a triangular here on Monday.
South Hamilton was the team winner with a 177. The Gaels were second, shooting a 183. Saydel had a 201.
St. Edmond freshman Ty Mericle was the meet medalist with a 41. South Hamilton’s Luke Martensen was the runner-up.
Earning counting scores for the Gaels were Max Nguyen (46), Jack McElroy (47), and Kinnick Henning (49).
The Gaels are back in action on Wednesday when they host the CYO tournament at Lakeside.
