The Fort Dodge girls tennis team picked up a 10-1 victory over Des Moines East here Monday evening.

Earning wins in singles for the Dodgers were Manuela Rodriguez, Sydney Gebers, Grace Behrens, Lacey Larson, Janelle Derrig and Kaitlyn Folsom.

“It was a good team win for the girls,” FDSH head coach Julie Astor said. “We’ve been working on a few different things in practice and I could see them using those skills to win points.”

In doubles, Rodriguez and Behrens, Derrig and Madge Hensley, Larson and Claire Thompson, and Jessenia Elias and Evah Nostrom earned victories.

Fort Dodge returns to the courts on Tuesday vs. Des Moines North and Wednesday vs. Des Moines Hoover.
