AMES — They entered the game at the same time, but this time it was on opposite sides and in a new venue.

Bishop Garrigan graduates Audi Crooks and Molly Joyce began their freshman seasons in college basketball.

Crooks, the school’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder suits up for Iowa State and Joyce for Truman State.

The Cyclones beat the Bulldogs 88-68 in an exhibition contest.

Crooks, last year’s Miss Iowa Basketball, had a double-double in 18 minutes of action.

She had 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting. She puled down 11 rebounds for the Cyclones.

Joyce had eight points, hitting one three and was 3-for-3 from the line in 19 minutes.
