WEST BURLINGTON — The Iowa Central softball team bounced back here Tuesday with a sweep over Southeastern.

Scores were 4-3 and 7-3.

The Tritons (17-20-1 overall, 6-8 in ICCAC) used a two-run seventh to best the Blackhawks, as Amber McKinney hit a homer and had two hits with two RBI.

Riley Gilroy also collected two hits, with Sydney Ballard driving in a run and Olivia Harmon scoring twice. Gilroy picked up the win, striking out a pair.

Harmon was 3-for-4 and Myra Megli drove in two in the other game. McKinney, Ballard, Megli and Morgan Weeks each had two hits, as Taylor Lee picked up the win.

Iowa Central returns to action on Saturday in Estherville against Iowa Lakes.
