ROCKWELL CITY — Emmetsburg reigned supreme as champions at the Twin Lakes Conference wrestling meet here on Saturday.

The E-Hawks piled up 200 points, finishing ahead of runner-up Southeast Valley. South Central Calhoun was third, Pocahontas Area fourth and Alta-Aurelia fifth.

Rounding out the team standings were GTRA, Manson Northwest Webster, Sioux Central, West Bend-Mallard and East Sac County.

Ryan Brennan remained unbeaten on his season for Emmetsburg, winning the 145-pound bracket with three falls. Jace Nelson-Brown, Ben Saxton and Matthew Wirtz were all crowned winners. Like Brennan, Wirtz is also unbeaten on the year, as he earned a 4-2 decision over MNW’s Brodie Anderson in the finals in a featured final.

Aaron Graves claimed two falls to lead the Jaguars, as he was crowned the heavyweight champion. Caelan Oakes-Sudhish earned three pins to win at 120, with Carson Suchan, Ty Klatt, Harley Bryson and Rylie Ferrari all placing third.

Justin Rohlfing, Zachary Trott, Kevin King, Blake McAlister and Jayden Soard picked up titles for the Titans.

King, McAlister and Soard are all 30-0 on the year and earned seven pins at the TLC meet.

For Pocahontas Area, Tyce Ruffridge was first, while Ryan Sommerlot, Deontez Williams and Keaton Bindel each took second.

Ethan Egli placed first, Anderson second and both Blake Jones and Owen Eldridge third for Manson NW. West Bend-Mallard’s Aaron Massner was a runner-up, as was Bradyn Burns and Charlie Veit from East Sac County.
