No. 5 Mustangs rally to top Kingsley-Pierson
NEWELL — No. 5 Newell-Fonda used a late touchdown to hold off Kingsley-Pierson here Friday night, 41-34.
Mason Dicks hit Zach Mercer with a five-yard touchdown pass and Dicks converted the two-point conversion for the game-winning score.
Dicks finished with 214 yards rushing on 29 carries, scoring three times. Wyatt Kreft had 79 yards rushing on 10 attempts with two touchdowns.
Ryan Greenfield recorded 15 tackles on defense and Trey Jungers picked off a pass late to seal the win.
