FDSH swimmers in action at Ames

AMES — The Fort Dodge swim team competed at third-ranked Ames on Tuesday night.

The Little Cyclones earned a 149-34 victory over the Dodgers.

Fort Dodge’s 200 medley relay was third. The quartet of Julia Eastman, Raegan Wooldridge, Addison Daniel, Makenna Kammerer touched the wall in 2:03.42.

Addison Daniel (2:14.65) was third in the 200 freestyle. Kammerer (2:29) was third in the 200 IM. Eastman (1:04.23) got bronze in the 100 butterfly. Wooldridge was also third in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.56).

The 200 freestyle relay team of Eastman, Rebecca Kenville, Kammerer and Daniel took third in 1:53.11.

“Ames is a very tough team,” said FDSH coach Ashley Beaumont. “We were just trying to be comeptitive and trying to win some of our best times.”

The Dodgers are back in action on Thursday evening when they host Algona and Perry in the Fort Dodge Senior High pool.
