Clark, Kinnetz unanimous NCC
Humboldt’s Kendal Clark and Raven Kinnetz of Clarion-Goldfield/Dows were unanimous all-North Central Conference girls basketball selections for the 2020-21 campaign.
Clark, a senior, averaged 16.7 points and 10.3 rebounds for the Wildcats. Kinnetz, also a senior, checked in at 14.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.3 steals per contest.
Humboldt and C-G/D tied for second place in the league with 11-3 NCC marks. Clear Lake (10-0) was the champion.
Lions Jaden Ainley and Kaitlyn Vanderploeg joined Iowa Falls-Alden’s Jenny Wibholm and Lauren Meader of Hampton-Dumont on the first team.
Humboldt’s Bae Arnold, C-G/D’s Morgan Middleton and Algona’s Lillian Etherington landed on the second squad. Arnold and Middleton are seniors; Etherington is a sophomore.
St. Edmond’s Leah Neverman was a third-team pick. The senior forward averaged 10.2 points and 8.1 rebounds for the Gaels.
Jori Hajek of Humboldt, Jadyn Jondle of C-G/D, Webster City’s Jenna Miller and A’Lailah Perry of Algona were also on the third squad.
