“Nathan and Jordan are very strong bowlers and they came together and had a really good day,” Iowa Central head coach Gregg Haden said. “We’ve got eight high-level kids and on any given day, someone can post strong scores.”

Dale Weaver and Kamrin Chizek were eighth. Weaver had a 521 (204-169-148) and Chizek a 594 (139-236-219).

In singles, Ray Wiegand placed fourth overall and Weaver was eighth. Jacob Kraft finished 14th and Pelant was 17th for Iowa Central.

“These kids know what it will take.”
