Wildcats win with walk-off sac fly

HUMBOLDT — Mady Lange hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning to push Humboldt to a 6-5 victory over Webster City on Wednesday night.

The No. 2 Wildcats (5-0 overall, 4-0 North Central Conference) led off the inning with a walk, and Jori Hajek made her way around the bases. Hajek then stole second and advanced to third on an errant throw.

Jacobson had 13 strikeouts to earn the victory in the circle.
