ABOUT THE SCARLETS: Since a pair of wins in early January, Des Moines East is just 1-7 over its last eight. The Scarlets average just 29 points per game and have made only 24 percent of their 3-point shots. Rachel Puok leads the team in rebounds, assists, blocks and steals.

ABOUT THE SCARLETS: Des Moines East has lost 32 straight games dating back to last season when they topped Des Moines Roosevelt, 74-54. Included in that stretch was a 60-46 setback to Fort Dodge. The Scarlets average 39 points a game and are shooting 34 percent from the field.
