Iowa Central men prevail

The Iowa Central men bounced back inside Hodges Fieldhouse Saturday, topping William Penn JV, 83-76.

After dropping two straight, the Tritons are now 8-12 on the season.

Five different players reached double figures led by Andrew Gibb’s 13. Gibb also had four rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.

Marquis Henry and Zack Foulks scored 12 each, with Ayris Abdelnassar and Jeremiah Hurst adding 11 points each.

Hurst grabbed nine rebounds and Javonte Keck had nine points and eight boards and four assists for the Tritons.

Off the bench, Jeremy Kambomba was 4-for-4 shooting for nine points with 10 rebounds, including four on the offensive glass.

Iowa Central hits the road Wednesday to face Ellsworth in Iowa Falls. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
