URBANDALE — The Fort Dodge girls found themselves playing from behind here Saturday afternoon vs. No. 7 (Class 5A) Urbandale.
In the end, the Dodgers could not get close enough, falling 64-37.
Fort Dodge was held scoreless through the first quarter, falling behind 18-0.
Tory Bennett, Jalen Adams and Jebreauna Clark all scored eight points each, with Aleaha Pommer adding four.
Jada Gyamfi led the J-Hawks with 16.
Fort Dodge returns to the court Tuesday, hosting 15th-ranked Ames.
