The final day to enter the 2019 Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota Webster County golf tournament has arrived.

On-line registration for the July 13 and 14 event, again sponsored by The Messenger, is set up for all tournament participants this year at https://fdcc-2019citytournament1.golfgenius.com. Click on the “Register Now For 2019 City Tournament” tab on the bottom left-hand side of the page.

Well over 100 players are already ready to participate beginning Saturday, with tee times running from 8 a.m. on for the women’s field at the FDCC and from 8:06 through 11:56 a.m. for the men at Lakeside. Plenty of tee times are still available for interested participants, though.

There will again be a championship nine on Sunday evening for the men’s open and senior divisions at the FDCC for the top qualifiers following 36 holes of Saturday and Sunday stroke play. The women’s winners will be decided after 36 holes of competition.

The men’s open and senior division fields are asked to visit Lakeside (515-576-6741) with questions, concerns or help signing up. The women should go to the Country Club (955-8551).

All Webster County residents and workers are eligible to participate in the event, which has attracted nearly 8,000 golfers since The Messenger obtained sponsorship in 1980.
