To the editor:

I finally read a letter to you that needs backup. I was very impressed with Justin Hoover.

I see another money pit — Fort Dodge’s high school. The main problem is the flat roof (over) the Little Theatre and a few other parts of roof have been slanted.

What did new middle school cost — $32 million? Why not build a new high school south of new middle school for $50 or $60 million and have a new high school? Could use some of junior high facilities like theater and parking.

I also think a new roller rink is a need in Fort Dodge. Could the new colosseum in mall be a roller rink on certain days? What junior high student has $30 — $50 to use this new facility?

If Justin is willing to run for mayor or governor, I’d be proud to help him. We need common sense people in Fort Dodge.

Vote no on high school repair. Vote yes for new high school.
