To the editor:

On Nov. 4, we have the opportunity to renew Iowa Central Community College’s bond without raising our property tax rate. This is simply a continuation of the current levy that has already proven its value to students, families, and taxpayers alike.

At Seneca Foundry, we see firsthand how ICCC prepares students with the skills local employers need. Many of our team members have benefited from the training programs which directly support the strength of our business and community. Approving this renewal will ensure ICCC can continue updating facilities, repair aging buildings and save money for taxpayers in the long run.

A yes vote means stronger students, stronger communities and a stronger economy for all of us.
