To the editor:

I want to express my strong support for Kim Alstott in his bid for re-election to the Fort Dodge City Council. Kim has been a steady, experienced, and positive voice for progress in our community.

As a charter member of the Webster County Housing Trust Fund, Kim has helped lead meaningful efforts to improve housing opportunities for our residents. Since 2019, the trust has improved over 70 homes right here in Webster County, investing nearly $1 million to assist low to moderate income households and individuals with disabilities. That’s real, measurable impact that strengthens neighborhoods and improves lives.

On the council, Kim has provided strong, common sense leadership. He’s a team player who does his homework, asks the right questions and always keeps the best interest of Fort Dodge at heart. His experience and steady hand have been vital in guiding the city through periods of growth and renewal.

Kim Alstott represents the kind of leadership Fort Dodge needs – experienced, practical and community-minded. I encourage voters to support him in the upcoming election.
