Dear Friends of Saint Edmond Catholic School,

We write to express gratitude and appreciation to all Friends of St. Edmond Catholic School as well as the Fort Dodge community for their incredible support during the 2025 Friends of St. Edmond Ball Fundraiser, held on May 10th. As the co-chairs of this event, we feel truly honored to have been a part of such a successful and memorable evening.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and celebrate together as we welcomed the Class Reunions of 1995, 2000, 2005, and 2015, who joined us on this special night.

We would also like to give a big shout out to our amazing volunteers and donors who played a crucial role in the success of the event. Their efforts in making the Mini-Ball a hit, bringing fun to Bingo Night, supporting the Gym-Floor Fundraiser, and selling raffle tickets with enthusiasm were truly commendable. Additionally, the Business Committee’s dedication in making calls and securing support was instrumental in our fundraising efforts among the corporate and small business community.

Special thanks go to the teachers and classes who generously donated silent auction gifts, as well as the individuals and businesses who provided financial support. We are also grateful for St. Edmond staff, especially our Development Director, Susan Laufersweiler, who were invaluable throughout the entire process. We would also like to express our appreciation to Sadie and the Laramar staff for their exceptional collaboration and assistance. Olde Boston’s, Tea Thyme at Sadies and the Upcycle Market went above and beyond to add finishing touches to an unforgettable evening.

Above all, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the Gael Nation for their overwhelming support. We asked for their help, and they delivered in a big way, raising $355,000 from the Ball, and surpassing our goal of $300,000 for the gym floor fundraiser. As Rob always says, “Giving is Easy,” and it truly is when you are supporting a cause you believe in.

Once again, thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the 2025 St. Edmond Ball. Your support and generosity have made a significant impact, and we are truly grateful. Go Gaels!
