To the editor:

It is that time of year again — county fair season. As you put together your schedules for the upcoming month, take time to consider coming down to the Webster County Fair.

The Webster County Fair offers days of fun and positive experiences for all ages and interest areas. From livestock shows demonstrating the high quality of animal stewardship in our county, to grandstand events such as the Tuff Trucks and Truck Pull, and the auditorium showcase of the hard work and effort put into various projects by our county 4-H’ers and other dedicated individuals.

The Open Class competitions such as Cookie, Cupcake, and Hotdog eating contests as well as the Mom and Hog calling contests also provide an array of opportunities for everyone to come and display their talents in the various categories offered. Amusement rides, a stingray show, hands on activities, and other performances will dot the fairground’s landscape to entertain people of all ages.

The Webster County Fair is an accumulation of hard work from many different individuals and organizations, and your attendance and support is much appreciated in making the fair a success. We would love to welcome you to the 2024 Webster County Fair.
