To the editor:

I’m a retired police captain from the Fort Dodge Police Department. I’ve known Luke since high school days. He’s always been a leader that serves our community and others. He started his journey working in dispatching. From there he decided to move forward serving more in law enforcement. I had the opportunity to serve with him on the PD. Luke decided to serve other communities and came back with the knowledge he gained to serve our Webster County community. He has proven through his knowledge to be the leader he is. He with his deputies have grown our sheriff department in a positive advancement for our county. I am highly endorsing Luke Fleener for sheriff of Webster County.
