Likes police chief’s idea
To the editor:
The Messenger articles on “How do we stop the violence” have been excellent. As a very interested Fort Dodge citizen, the last article, a talk with Fort Dodge Police Chief Dennis Quinn, I found his suggestion to be a community volunteer and give an hour per week a wonderful idea.
Perhaps The Messenger’s next end violence article could list places and organizations that could use volunteers and what sort of service is needed, i.e., art, music, sewing, reading, math, sports simple communications. In my opinion we might be pleasantly surprised at the volume of positive responses.
