Once again, the annual Oakland Cemetery Walk this year was a success. The Friends of Oakland Cemetery would like to thank: The Ann Smeltzer Charitable Trust, Gunderson Funeral Home, Rees Truck & Trailer, Judy Warrick Center, Shimkat Motor Co., Mikos & Matt Furniture, Ashely and Dan Garst, Party Productions, Fort Dodge Parks, Recreation and Forestry, Friendship Haven, Webster County Historical Society, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, MIDAS-DART Bus, Alpha Media, The Messenger, Visit Fort Dodge, Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance and the public who attended the “Stroll through the Cemetery” on Friday and the main performance on Sunday. This was our 20th year and we hope to have another 20 years. It is only possible with these partnerships.
