To the editor:

The Fort Dodge Evening Lions Club would like to thank all of our great sponsors, especially Hy-Vee, Fareway and Aldi’s, for their donations to our grocery raffle. We drew our five winners at Rides Event Center on Dec. 20 and the winners are Pederson Sanitation, Rides, Shelly Haack, Amy Remington and Teresa Smith. Congratulations to our winners and thanks for participating in our raffle and also to the ones that did not win, we hope you will try again next year.

At the same time, we recognized two of our sponsors wth an award called The Warren Coleman, which is earned by the club from the Iowa Lions Foundation. The winners were: In Memory of Tim Flaherty -Hy-Vee store and was accepted by Lindsey Flanigan, store director; and The Historic Bruce Funeral Home with Derrick Hoffman accepting that award.

We wish everyone a Happy New Year from the Fort Dodge Evening Lions Club. Thanks again and we will see you again next year.
