To the editor:

Tom Coleman will absolutely flourish in the role of county supervisor. He’s value and character driven. As I raise my kids and watch them develop their individual relationships with their peers, I hope they have friendships as close and loyal as I have with my friend Tommy.

I remember, very well, when we were younger and learning how to drive, Tommy explaining to me, that he avoids bumps and dips in the road as he wants to make sure his passengers had the smoothest ride possible while he’s in the driver’s seat. He has always, put others first in everything he does. Tom Coleman would literally give you the shirt off his back in the middle of a snowstorm. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for someone, whether he’s known them for years or just a few minutes.

He doesn’t go above and beyond for the recognition, he does it because it’s the right thing to do. It’s who he is. Tommy is one of the best people I know. It’s a privilege to call him a life-long friend.
