To the editor:

Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, voting for Niki Conrad to continue as our District 4 Webster County supervisor is an easy choice–for so many reasons.

She has proven herself to be authentic, personable, easily accessible, transparent, an empathetic listener, and an energetic problem solver. When she doesn’t immediately have an answer for a constituent, she digs in and does the research, and gets back to anyone who has the pleasure of interacting with her.

Also, has anyone else noticed how well she works with the other supervisors–even when they have to deal with controversial issues? When Webster County citizens were dying of COVID, Niki helped protect us, as best she could, by supporting the CDC masking mandate.

I don’t think it is in her innately good character to be dishonest, unfair, or unkind. She is just a neat person, and we should be proud and supportive of this native Webster County resident for dedicating herself to serving us so nobly.
