To the editor,

On behalf of the St. Edmond family, we would like to sincerely thank the community

for the overwhelming support of the 39th annual Friends of St. Edmond Ball. The St.

Edmond Catholic School System has been fortunate to be able to offer affordable

Catholic education in the Fort Dodge community for over 60 years and proceeds

from the Ball are essential to funding the operational expenses of the school. It is

truly a system where values and academics meet and we were blown away by the

generosity of businesses and individuals who helped us accomplish this mission.

We would also like to offer a special thanks to the faculty, staff, administration, and

clergy of this great institution for continuing this faith-based learning on a daily

basis. The Ball is the largest fundraising event of the year and would not be possible

without the volunteers, committees, business ofJice staff and especially Susan

Laufersweiler, Development Director. Thank you all for your relentless dedication to

providing a quality, Catholic education and learning environment.

We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve as co-chairs this year and

look forward to seeing the results of this effort in our students, who as always,

remain our greatest gifts.
