To the editor:

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Fareway of Fort Dodge for hosting our 2021 Service Clubs United Foodraiser. Without Fareway opening their doors on a Sunday afternoon, this event would not have been possible. They were very gracious and accommodating – and for that we say THANK YOU! Service clubs spent seven minutes or less to collect the items they needed for their food pantry with $3,641.79 worth of groceries or other needed items being donated to Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Fort Dodge School System, The Salvation Army, The Lotus Project, The Lord’s Cupboard, and Holy Trinity Food Pantry.

We also want to thank Anna Canning, Iowa Central Community College student for capturing our event.
