To the editor:

We are writing this letter to endorse Kim Alstott, a man of integrity that we have known for over 20 years. Kim has represented Fort Dodgers from Ward 4 for 10 years and would like to be able to continue to see some of his council work to fruition.

Housing is important to Fort Dodge for growth and job recruitment and Kim was instrumental in getting Heart of Iowa to help locally to repair 22 homes and investing over $275,000 in the process. Kim is the chairman of the Salvation Army , a member of PICA (Pride In Community Appearance) for 10 years, on the Main Street committee, Crime Stoppers, and works with the Growth Alliance as well as the County Supervisors.

Giving back has always been something Kim was proud to do and voting for Kim Alstott to be able to continue his work will be our way of saying thank you for a job well done.
