Celebrates Fort Dodge Kiwanis Club’s 100 years
On May 20, 1920, a new organization was started whose motto today is “Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.”
This has been true in Fort Dodge for over a hundred years. Although COVID has delayed their celebration, they will bring the community together on Tuesday to show their appreciation. I had the fortune to serve as their president in 2010-2011.
I am unable to attend the event, but want to thank the Kiwanis Club of Fort Dodge for getting me started on my Kiwanis journey and wish them the best as they move forward serving the community. Kids Need Kiwanis!
