To the editor:

Once again I am compelled to write about the COVID-19. Looks like there will be no end in sight for this germ that has engulfed the whole world, unless those people who refuse now will get vaccinated before it gets too late.

Meanwhile, they will keep giving this virus to all members of family and friends. Then what? They must think all TV stations and newspapers and I are just making it up. I dare you to ask your doctor and that’s what you should do besides taking your temperature every day. Sixty seconds is all. It could save a life and keep you out of the hospital. It sure will be the worst disruption in your lifestyle and the after effects you will endure.

The most disturbing news I saw a few days ago was a disgrace for I and all veterans of all wars when the combat soldiers said they would refuse to get vaccinated for the COVID-19 if they were mandated to get their shots from any commander of all service for life. Yes, they should have a choice. Get vaccinated or else a discharge from their service for life. From an old veteran of the Korean conflict, PFC Merlin J. Fort, ex-paratrooper.
