To the editor:

The Friends of Oakland Cemetery Commission would like to thank everyone who came Friday night (June 11) to the cemetery and Sunday afternoon (June 13) to Decker Auditorium. We would also like to thank the portrayers who did another great job this year.

We would also like to thank Graham Tire, Gunderson Funeral Home, C&S Products, Ann Smeltzer Trust Foundation, and Shimkat Motor Co. for their continued donations.

We would like to thank Party Productions for the costumes, Ashley Garst for all the technical work she does to make the presentation a success. We would like to thank Iowa Central Community College for the use of Decker Auditorium. In all it was a successful year. We are planning on cleaning headstones in September. Look for the announcement in The Messenger.
