To the editor:

The team and residents at Friendship Haven would like to send out a huge thank you to the community for the gift and card drive that was done for the benefit of our residents on Dec. 20. Your outpouring of support, in this time that has been especially difficult for long term care, was felt and is appreciated more than words can express. An extra thank you to all who showed up to volunteer and provide music. I would also like to give a special thanks to Colleen Peace and Katie Bills for organizing it all and finding a way to spread hope and cheer to so many who have been isolated for the past months. Thank you!
