Thanks community for support in time of sorrow

To the editor:

I wish we could say “thank you” to everyone that has touched our lives in these last days and weeks in a way that would give you as much gratitude as you deserve, but that would be impossible.

To UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center, especially Dr. Elizabeth Day and Jessica Haub, the nursing staff, all the health care workers. There are too many to list, but you know who you are. You provided compassionate care to my husband, Dale Stucky, and to our family. For that I am forever grateful.

To the Fort Dodge community, our family has been touched by so many. We are proud to be from Fort Dodge.

To our parish family, Holy Trinity, with you we find strength as we move forward. Without you we would be lost.

To our St. Edmond family, who have been by our side, caring for Dale’s “most precious gifts” his children and grandchildren as they begin a new normal without him.

To our entire family and friends, we appreciate having you with us in our time of sorrow. The support and comfort will always be remembered.

Our prayers will continue for everyone for an end to this pandemic.
