After all the bad things happening lately, it did my heart good to pick up The Messenger (Sept. 1) and read some news (good).
Kallin Johnson Monument volunteers fixing stones and cleaning up Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry after the derecho.
I have a lot of relatives buried there. I didn’t know it had been hit. There’s still good people in this world. Thank you Kallin Johnson volunteers!
