To the editor:

Knowing Luke Fleener for his entire law enforcement career, I am proud to endorse him for Webster County sheriff. Luke has had numerous letters to the editor endorsing him, but two in particular are right on point. Humboldt County Chief Deputy Cory Lampe and former Webster County Deputy Jason Bahr couldn’t have stated why they support Luke any better. Webster County Sheriff’s Deputy Tony Walter is a very good deputy and canine handler, but Luke is the one who has what it takes to run the Sheriff’s Department.

It is sad that law enforcement has come under assault in recent months in a few states. Some say it is for lack of training. Luke is an excellent trainer and he will make sure the Sheriff’s Department will always be well-trained and ready for any problems that should arise.

I am confident that Luke has the knowledge to run the day-to-day multi factions of the office. I am very proud of the excellent officers and first responders we have in this county and the way the entities work closely together. I know under Luke as sheriff this rapport will continue. Please join me and cast your vote proudly for Luke Fleener as the next Webster County sheriff.
