To the editor:

Many of us are anxiously waiting as the scientific community moves forward with the development, testing, and release of a vaccine for COVID-19. That will be the answer to safely reopening businesses, schools and our lives.

The next question is what is the priority for who is at the front of the line for receiving the vaccine? Our health workers and emergency responders certainly should be among the first. After that, it seems that anyone who has worn a mask and tried to protect their contacts should be next, and those that have had nothing to fear during the “political gimmick” should volunteer to place themselves way at the back of the line and party on. They obviously don’t fear the virus and don’t need a lifesaving vaccine.
