To the editor:

I am writing in support of Trevir Michehl for Webster County sheriff. Trevir has been employed as Webster County deputy sheriff for three years. Trevir was born and raised in Fort Dodge.

Trevir has been in law enforcement for over 13 years but would bring with him a fresh perspective for our community. One can always see Trevir in the community working on projects such as Shop With a Cop, Cooper Watch Dog and anything that is asked of him.

I have known Trevir for over 6 years. Trevir is a dedicated family man and is always committed to improving the community. Trevir is also a great friend. Trevir mowed our grass for us weekly when we moved away so that we would not have to make a 5-hour drive back to the house we were selling.

Trevir is a very compassionate person on and off the clock. He is the kind of guy I would like to see as sheriff as he is not cut and dry and always greets you with a smile.

It is very important to elect the right person for sheriff. We need someone in this community who knows what policing is all is about and who is willing to look for new and innovative solutions to the problems we are facing in Webster County.

I hope everyone will get to know Trevir Michehl and his wonderful wife and family and vote for him, by voting for him on the June 2nd ballot.
