Skeptical of gun ban in stores
To the editor:
I heard on the news that some stores will no longer allow guns to be brought into their stores, I don’t think that will prevent a person who has plans to do a mass shooting in a store from bringing their gun into a store, but if guns are allowed in stores and a shooting occurs in a store, it’s possible that if people are allowed to carry their gun into stores they might be able to shoot the gunman before he shoots people, the only people who will leave their gun in their vehicle after seeing a sign posted that says “no guns allowed in our store” are the law abiding responsible people, who are more likely to help, rather than harm other people.
