Thankful for all the help with MAGWED
To the editor:
The MAGWED foundation would like to thank everyone for making this year another great success. What we consider a “great success” is when we see all the youth that signed up. The youth winning bass was almost as big as the winner. It was another beautiful weekend with lots of fish weighed in. Some of our original foundation members are looking to retire and just go to the tournament and fish. They have been involved for going on 20 years. What that means is we are turning the reins over to a younger group of fishing enthusiast. As always, the foundation is looking for new members to help out.
I would personally like to thank all the current members and volunteers that make this weekend possible. Also our fantastic sponsors that are there every year for us to make the prizes possible. A big shout out to Mike May of Triggs resort in East Okoboji for allowing us to hold the tournament at his establishment. Thanks to Roger Brown for always being there with the youth winning prizes. We would like to thank, Howard’s Body Shop, C&S Products, Beisser Lumber, Green Amusement, Ferrells Auto, Randy and Windy Cerwick, Fareway Meat & Grocery of Ft Dodge, Northern Lights Distributing, Busch Light of Fort Dodge, TC Maes, Zakeers, Daniel Tire, B&L Drive Thru, Olde Boston, Dominos Pizza of Fort Dodge, Pelham Blue Ribbon water, Hartys Caddy Shack, Precision Machine & Welding, Paul Electric, Arnolds Motor Supply, Arlington Place of Pocahontas, The Denny Vincent Memorial, and the Don Lindner Family. Without these generous sponsors, we would not be able to hold this annual event.
Again we want to remind everyone, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS.
