‘God loves. Choose life’
To the editor:
Here’s a short unsubstantiated story attributed to Ernest Hemingway. As the story goes, Hemingway was challenged to write a compelling story in just six words. He wrote: “For sale: Baby shoes. Never worn.” This powerful story is becoming the reality that describes America. Millions of babies will never have the opportunity to wear shoes because their lives have been snuffed out. This tragedy could end with another six-word story: “God loves. God forgives. Choose life.”
