Don’t let Democrats undo Trump’s accomplishments

To the editor:

Democrats and Republicans share responsibility for the uncivil acts occurring in our nation. Many Democrats and those on the far left have been quick to accuse President Trump of causing all this mayhem. Yes, President Trump could calm things down at his rallies and with his tweets, but he is fighting back, since he is ridiculed and laughed at almost on a daily basis. Coverage about him in the mainstream media is over 90 percent negative in tone.

Statements from Hillary Clinton and others have caused confrontations in restaurants, theaters, etc., against well-known Republicans (Most of them women by the way — so much for Democrats being the champion of womens rights). No Democrats expressed any indignation or spoke out. But there have been many prominent Republicans that have been critical of Presdient Trump’s comments — senators McCain (when he was alive) and Graham and even Paul Ryan, to name a few. Do all of the Democrats feel that these confrontations are justified?

Thankfully, no one was hurt by any of the bomb devices sent recently by mail to Trump haters. But, don’t forget, Republican Congressman Steve Scalise and many other Republicans could have died on that softball field if armed security had not been there. A Bernie Sanders supporter did the shooting. I don’t remember the same media that now point the finger solely at President Trump, being critical of Senator Sanders. And never mind that Nancy Pelosi stated at the time to not politicize the Scalise shooting. Where is she now? Accusing President Trump of responsibility for the bombings.

The Democrats’ one major talking point this election season is trying to save Obamacare, health care approved on the basis of lies …. you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan, families will save thousands and the biggest lie of all, that Obamacare will not add one dime to the national deficit. Obamacare needs to be eliminated. Time to move on to a better health plan.

J.D. Scholten says he will ”stand tall for all.” If he is elected, Nancy Pelosi will see that his only standing tall will be to undo what President Trump has accomplished these last two years. Vote for Republicans to continue helping President Trump to make and keep America great. While many may not like what President Trump says, there are millions that like what he has done.
