Supports Niki Conrad
To the editor:
I have known Niki Conrad my entire life and probably know her better than most anyone. That is because I am her brother. Much like other siblings, we have times when we do not see eye to eye and I may have even been a little overprotective when it came to an ex-boyfriend or two of hers. I have been around Niki in good times and in bad. For these reasons, I believe I am in a position to offer a unique insight into what she would bring to the Board of Supervisors.
It cannot be questioned that Niki invests her entire heart into every effort in which she is involved. She is not quick to judge, but rather facilitates communication and collaboration to solve problems. Her business background and customer relations experience fits squarely into what an elected official should strive to be– knowledgeable and engaging with the citizens she represents. Her constituents will always know they were not just heard, but understood. In today’s cut throat arena of politics, there will be those who blindly oppose her because of the letter behind her name. However, if you really know Niki then you know she will be there for every single one of her constituents, every time they need their elected supervisor, and she’ll have a smile on her face doing it.
Through our parents, Nick and Nedra Conrad, we siblings have been taught to take pride in community involvement, give back whenever we can, and to never be afraid to stand up for the little guy. Niki takes pride in community involvement, is ready to use her many talents on the Board of Supervisors, and is prepared to fight for all of her constituents.
I offer my support of Niki Conrad to be the next Supervisor for Webster County District 4, not as a brother, but as a citizen of Webster County who knows she has what it takes.
