To the editor:

I want to encourage all voters of Iowa House District 9 to consider Megan Srinivas for our next representative.

When Megan announced her candidacy I was encouraged and excited. She is a remarkable Fort Dodger who has been involved with community service since her early elementary school days. I remember the recognition and pride she brought to Fort Dodge and our public school system when she was appointed as a student representative to the Iowa Board of Regents in 2004.

Megan’s continued service and education is truly remarkable. Her training and experience would allow her to live anywhere, yet she chose to return to Iowa!

I urge all voters to look beyond party affiliations and recognize the qualification and skill Megan brings to our community.

We have the opportunity to elect an extremely qualified and talented Iowa House representative by voting for Megan Srinivas!
