To the editor:

The Fort Dodge Evening Lions would like to express to all our sponsors and the public that purchased our raffle tickets for the Chevy Silverado during May, June and July. The drawing was held at the Ja Mar Cruise on Friday. Aug. 3 at 9 p.m.

We wish to congratulate the winner, Lacey Bailey of Cherokee who won and picked up the pickup on Saturday afternoon. The committee would also like to thank all the people that worked the project and dedicated their time and energy to make it a wonderful success. We could not donate to all the local charities without such giving people doing there part.

Again thanks to all for your continued support each year to make our club succeed and continue the work that we do for Lions everywhere.
