Sees God as the answer

To the editor:

Yesterday I was talking to a customer who said that she decided to leave her church when the pastor told her that the things written in the Old Testament of the Bible are just fictional stories. That made me think of all of the school shootings and why children and adults are taking guns and shooting up innocent people they don’t like.

If you teach children in school that they all just evolved from the swamp and that monkeys are our ancestors, then you will find them acting like animals. Then when they go to church and are told that God really didn’t create everything in six literal 24-hour days, and rested on the seventh day, they start to believe that there is no creator and if there is no creator, then there is no final judgment.

I believe God did create everything in six literal 24-hour days and that Noah’s flood was a worldwide flood, and that Moses really did take the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground, and that about 2,000 years ago YeHoVaH planted a seed in Miriam’s womb that became the only begotten son of God. I believe he is the Lamb that takes away the sin of everyone who puts their trust in him as their saviour and that one day we will all stand before him as the final judge.
