Appreciates Honor Flight
To the editor:
I would like to thank everyone who had anything to do with making the Sept. 17 Honor Flight possible. We were a forgotten force when we returned from Vietnam. This trip restores our faith in the people of the United States. The greeters at Dulles International Airport were wonderful. They made us feel really humble. Young and old, they were all great. The tour of Washington and all the memorials are unforgettable. Thank you to all. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank the medical staff on board the aircraft. They took very good care of me with the limited supplies they had. I was the vet that they had to take off the plane in Cleveland, Ohio. Thanks again to all.
