A message of thanks
To the editor:
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the soup and pie supper, led by the Golden K Kiwanis club, a big success. Daybreak Rotary helped in many ways on order to make a great supper happen. A fine meal for over 800 hungry people happened on Oct. 1. There were students from Iowa Central Community College and many other volunteers.
The proceeds from the meal will go to provide scholarships for high school youths of the Fort Dodge area. Golden K Kiwanis will not keep any of the proceeds, all funds will be distributed.
