To the editor:

I would like to chime in about Mr. Martz’s decision to protest the pipeline by first, hanging our American below another country’s flag, and second by hanging our American flag upside down.

This man said he is a veteran himself, so he must not have ever gotten the message what the American flag means to Americans.

This country has all the freedom we all enjoy because of the people who took this flag all over the world to fight for our freedom.

For crying out loud man, look at all those military graves in Arlington, and all over Europe.

They all died for the flag and what it represented. For you to misuse the flag as you did, should be punishable. The ACLU should have no input in this at all.

You screwed up big time and you should be punished for your actions.

If you are not satisfied with our flag and what it represents, I suggest you find another country to live in.
